Identification of the Prophesied Imam Mahdi The Holy Prophet Muhammad(SAW) has prophesied about several events that will occur just before the advent of the day of judgment. Among these, Rasulullah(SAW) has Allamah Tabataba’I: Say: “I ask you for no recompense but that you love my (Ahlulbait)” 

The love that has been made compulsory as the recompense of the ministry of the Messenger is the invitation to achieve well-being in this world and the hereafter
Does the verse of Muwaddat (42:23) not refer to the Ahlulbait? The main difference in the existing English translations of this verse 42:23 is in the clause “fil-Qurba” and we quote as follows:

1. For my near relatives (M.H. Shakir)

2. Those near of kin (A. Yusuf Ali)

3. Among kinsfolk (Pickthal)
